Mike Delia, was the previous Owner of Davinci's Custom Painting, and he believed that Washington DC is one of the world’s best places to live. That’s why he aspires to keep the area’s homes as beautiful as the city's natural surroundings.

As a young man, Mike Delia learned the skills of painting under the apprenticeship of his father Giuseppe Delia, himself an Artist in New York City from around 1925 to the 1950s. Once Mike finished his military service and started college, he continued to hone his craft working with his father in some of the most luxurious homes in New York's Upper West Side. Upon the sudden death of his father, Mike and his family moved to Washington DC and founded Davinci's Painting.

Chris Davis joined Davinci's Custom Painting as a Painter in 1983, and ran the company for nearly 8 years after it was founded by Mike. With nearly 25 years of experience, he had brought a wealth of knowledge and skill to the company. He has helped to expand the region’s #1 painting company from 3 employees to 10. The secret to Chris’s success? Make life as easy as possible for each Customer.

Our estimates are extremely detailed and we follow best practices and methodologies set forth by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation Contractor's Board. There are many fly-by-night painting companies in Northern Virginia that would be happy to provide estimates over the phone without even seeing the job, or perhaps verbally tell you that they are fully insured. We are a Licensed Contractor, and would never provide estimates without conducting a detailed analysis of the job. Furthermore, we provide full-disclosure regarding all of our credentials.
